Captain Planet is so amazing. In his tenure on network television, he managed to save the world from Hitler and an atomic bomb (see above), save Belfast from an atomic bomb?, (I know, right? COMPLETELY BOGUS, but awesome nonetheless), fight AIDS (yeah, he did that too), and there was also an amazing, super dark episode about the Russian chick and her cousin Boris becoming addicted to ecstasy, in which, (spoiler alert) CAPTAIN PLANET TO THE RESCUE.
